Day 2

Everbody was tired yesterday. Alain even fell asleep before dinner. Finished dinner at 20h30 and in bed by nine. Slept well till 6h30. The town of Foum Zguid is between the mountains, and sunrise this morning was breathtaking. The picture doesn't do the scenary justice.

Today we are heading into the desert for the next 3 days, close to the Algierian border. A few checkpoints are expected. We have more km to do today, but it's flat an less technical.

Physically we are OK. Nothing hurts (at least not too much), but we feel the effort made yesterday. And with 6 more days fatigue will pile up and becomes a risk: you loose concentration.
